Industrial plastic recycling

Complete crushing, washing, and pelletizing lines

✔ We design and integrate complete lines for the recycling of plastics that need to go through size reduction, washing, drying and pelletizing processes
✔ These solutions are designed for plants that work with film, big bags, PET, rigid plastics, post-industrial materials or plastic waste with different levels of contamination.

Laundry system

From plastic waste to recycled raw material

A complete plastic recycling line is not defined by the main machinery alone. The final performance depends on how all the phases are connected: feeding, crushing, washing, separating, drying, extrusion and storage.

At Zero Waste Solutions we analyse the type of input material, the level of dirt, the humidity, the capacity needed and the final product that the plant wants to obtain. From there, we select the most appropriate configuration.

Equipment that can be included in the line

Depending on the material and the objective of the project, a line can incorporate:

Mechanical juicers

Especially useful on film, where drying is one of the most critical phases. The juicers allow the moisture of the film to be reduced by mechanical action and drying, facilitating its subsequent entry into an extruder with compactor.

Mills and rippers

to reduce the size of plastic waste before processing. The rippers tear the products until they are reduced to a size that is already valid for a mill. The mill can already leave the appropriate outlet size for subsequent standard processing.

Laundry system

Laundry rooms

Laundry facilities are available for the following types of materials: Films, Big bags, Dry Cleaning, Hazardous Materials Wash, PET Sinks, Rigid Plastic Sinks.

Complete lines for reducing, washing, drying and transforming plastic waste into clean material ready for industrial recovery.

Typical applications

These lines are suitable for companies that work with:

  • Agricultural or industrial film.
  • Big bags and raffia.
  • PET.
  • Rigid plastics.
  • Post-industrial plastic.
  • Materials with moisture, soil, labels, adhesives, or contamination.
  • Plastic waste that needs prior preparation before extruding.

Benefits for the plant

A well-sized complete line allows:

  • Reduce the volume of waste.
  • Improve material cleanliness.
  • Control humidity before extrusion.
  • Prepare the plastic for further processing.
  • Increase the quality of recycled material.
  • Reduce downtime and operational issues.
  • Convert plastic waste into usable material for new industrial applications.
