Industrial plastic recycling

Extrusion and compounding lines for recycled plastic

✔ We integrate extrusion lines for companies that need to transform shredded, washed or recovered plastic into recycled pellets with industrial value.
✔ We also design compounding solutions to improve material homogeneity, incorporate additives and develop formulations adapted to new applications.

Twin-Screw Extruder

Extrusion to close the recycling loop

Extrusion is a key phase when the goal is not just to clean or separate plastic, but to turn it into a recycled raw material ready for reuse.

An extrusion line allows the material to be melted, filtered, degassed, homogenized and granced. This helps to reduce contaminants, improve the stability of the final product and facilitate its use in subsequent manufacturing processes.

Types of extrusion solutions

Depending on the material and the final application, we can work with different configurations:

Single Screw Extruder

Single-Screw Extruders

Twin-screw extruders allow the material to be processed with greater homogeneity and to better control the incorporation of additives during the process.
They are suitable for materials that require compaction, filtering and granulation. They can also incorporate a compactor at the inlet and filtration systems to reduce contamination present in the material before obtaining the final pellets.

Twin-Screw Extruder

Twin-screw extruders

These extruders incorporate a compactor at the inlet and a filtration system that allows the material to be processed and turned into pellets.
Filtering helps to remove a significant portion of the contamination present in the input material. When the process requires greater homogenization or a more controlled incorporation of additives, two extruders can be worked with in tandem or cascade arrangements.

profile extruder

Profile extrusion

Profile extrusion makes it possible to manufacture plastic products with continuous shapes, such as profiles, pipes, windows or other technical applications.
It can work with different materials, such as polyolefins, PVC, or Wood Plastic Composite-type composites, also known as WPC. It is a suitable solution when it is necessary to transform recycled material into final products with defined geometry and industrial use.

Compounding to increase the value of the material

Compounding allows the properties of recycled plastic to be modified by incorporating additives, fillers, dyes or polymer mixtures. It can be used to improve:

  • Mechanical resistance.
  • Fluidity.
  • Thermal stability.
  • Homogeneity.
  • Color.
  • Compatibility with new industrial processes.

Benefits for recycling and industrial companies

These lines help to:

  • Obtain more homogeneous recycled pellets.
  • Reduce impurities by filtering.
  • Improve process stability.
  • Develop your own formulations.
  • Give greater value to recovered plastic.
  • Prepare the material for injection, profile extrusion or other transformation processes.
