Solutions to reduce waste and improve efficiency

What are our main lines of work? We combine engineering, machinery, computer vision, robotics, automation, and data according to each plant’s problem.

Material recovery and valorization

Design and implementation of lines to transform complex waste into recovered materials with higher commercial value.

Smart separation and computer vision

Inspection and classification systems to identify materials, colors, polymers, metals, defects, or quality deviations.

Automation and industrial robotics

We automate repetitive, critical, or difficult-to-control processes to increase capacity, stability, and operational safety.

Data, traceability, and quality control

We turn operations into a measurable system: production data, quality, laboratory, reporting, and predictive maintenance.

Industrial recycling: recovering more value from waste

One of our major project areas is recycling. Designed for recycling companies, waste managers, and industrial plants that need complete lines, process improvements, or more precise separation systems.

What do we do?

We design, integrate, and optimize recycling lines

We analyze material, flow rate, contaminants, available space, and purity objective to define a technically and economically viable solution.

Computer Vision — Technology in your industrial day-to-day

One of our most in-demand technologies is computer vision. A computer vision system combines cameras, sensors, and artificial intelligence software to enable machines to “see,” analyze images, and make decisions in real time. It is primarily used for quality control, defect detection, product identification, precise measurement, and guiding automated systems, improving efficiency and reducing human errors. The process is simple: it captures the image, analyzes it using advanced algorithms, and executes an automatic action, such as classifying a product or stopping production in case of a fault. Zero Waste Solutions creates it for you.

Quality Control and Inspection

Detects micro-defects, scratches, color variations, or assembly problems in fractions of a second. This ensures that only perfect products reach the end customer.

Robotic Guidance (Bin Picking)

Allows robotic arms to locate, orient, and pick randomly placed parts in bins, automating material handling with millimeter precision.

Traceability and Logistics

Instantly reads barcodes, QR codes, and text (OCR), accelerating package sorting, inventory, and tracking of each product throughout the supply chain.

Process Optimization

Analyzes workflow in real time, helping to identify bottlenecks and prevent machinery failures before they occur through predictive maintenance.

LIMS Software for traceability.
The future approach

To complete an industrial recycling and automation solution, data collection and automation are needed. That’s why, at Zero Waste Solutions S.L., we implement LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System) systems designed to centralize, automate, and optimize the management of analytical data and industrial processes.

Our software allows for automatic data collection from measuring devices and projects it into a database for storage, review, and utilization. It is a solution specifically developed for recycled plastics. It enables a system with exhaustive traceability, complying with UNE 15343:2008 standards for end-of-waste status.

Automation and data — The future approach

Automatically collects data from laboratory equipment

Reduces manual work and prevents errors when capturing test results, measurements, and quality controls.

Centralizes information
in a
database

Allows for storing, consulting, and reviewing data for each sample, batch, or recycled material in an organized manner.

Improves
traceability
of
recycled plastic

Helps track the material’s history from initial analysis to validation, facilitating documentary and technical control.

Facilitates regulatory compliance

The LIMS is developed for recycled plastics and enables exhaustive traceability aligned with the UNE 15343:2008 standard for end-of-waste status.

Why choose Zero Waste Solutions

At Zero Waste Solutions, we support companies that need to solve a real technical challenge: recovering more value from their materials, automating a process, improving quality, or developing a solution not available in a catalog. Our approach combines engineering, machinery, on-site integration, and technical service to turn a specific need into a viable, installed, and operational project.

We design custom industrial solutions

Each project begins with a technical analysis of the material, process, available space, production objectives, and plant limitations. From there, we define the most suitable solution: standard machinery, special development, automation, computer vision, or integration of different technologies.

+20 years of experience
in this sector

We bring practical experience in machinery, processes, and industrial installations. This allows us to anticipate risks, correctly size each solution, and propose realistic alternatives so that the investment makes technical and operational sense.

The world

In-house technical
service

We don’t just supply machinery. We participate in the installation, assembly, commissioning, and adjustment of equipment at your facilities. Our team supports you before, during, and after startup to ensure the solution operates under real production conditions.
